We are delighted to be a chosen charity of the New City Girls WI for 2020 and it was lovely to meet a couple of the members at our BRA meeting. They had a chat to our volunteers and patients and saw first hand how our charity supports patients through their breast reconstruction.
They have also been very busy making drain bags for our patients to use whilst on the ward enabling them to get around following surgery. Thank you so much for your support !!!!
BRA is held under the auspices of Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity, the charity oversee the administration of all charitable monies donated to our hospitals at Broomfield, Basildon and Southend.
Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Meetings give women, newly diagnosed with breast cancer, the chance to meet and get support, information, insights and resources, from women who have been through the same experience.
