Mid & South Essex Hospitals Charity proudly awarded £500 to Hearts of Hope CIC created by our very own HCSW Annette and her daughter Vicki, to share comfort and connection to many of our patients in her memory.
Annette said: “We are grateful for the grant of £500 from Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity – this will enable us to continue our work to spread the love with the charities we work with. 2026 will be a busy year for us as we have plans for expansion.”
Each handmade Heart of Hope is included free of charge in every Breast Friends Surgery Kit, offering a reminder that even in the toughest times, you are never alone.
Lovingly designed by Debbie’s family, these hearts honour her caring nature, her strength, and the joy she brought to those around her – ensuring her support continues to reach others when they need it most.
