The Breast Friends support group at Broomfield Hospital has received 100 fantastic care packs for breast surgery patients.
Patients receiving these care packs, which came as a donation to the hospital following funding from the Friends at Broomfield Hospital, benefit from carefully selected items that make their post-surgery hospital stay more comfortable.
One patient, who has already been given a care pack, said: “I can’t tell you how much it meant to receive one of these care packages. Not just because of the contents, but because someone took the time to put it together especially for me.”
The helpful packs contain everything self-heating eye-masks and sleep masks for comfort and better sleep, and some toiletries.
